How to relieve stress

The title of your home page

All human being are forced to undergo stress in their life.

If you made mistake in one or the other way, please accept it and don’t blame others for your problem. One thing you should keep always in mind is, we learn from our mistakes and some of us will continue doing mistake and get scolding from superiors and force others also to do inadvertent job. By this act that person will be in stress and made others also undergo stress. Our mistake is a learning ladder to improve ourselves with the help of elders i.e. it may be a parents, teacher, friends, well-wishers etc. Cleverness is in correcting ourselves from the mistakes and not to repeat.

When one lies, that person thinks that work is done, but fact is he/she should be ready for series of lies. By this, the person is in mental agony and have fear of being caught which lead to stress. The stress so developed will get transferred to colleagues; family members etc and that person will mislay faith, respect from others.
When mistake occur, one should admit the mistake and apologize for the mistake. He/She should not repeat the mistake and see to it that others are not making the similar mistake.

Are we failing in sales ?

The process of sales starts from the function marketing. In marketing function, managers and executives should understand whole concept of the commodity they are presenting to the market. For example, in capital equipment marketing, executives should fully understand the product before venturing into the market by understanding the complete functionality of the equipment manufacturing activities right from the process of design to ready-for-delivery condition i.e. design concept, raw material procurement, process of manufacturing using different kinds of machineries used for manufacturing like conventional as well as CNC machines, different testing process for accuracy of results.  One can become a successful manager or executive by presenting full scenario of the company’s mission and vision, quality of manufacturing, quality processes adopted etc by visual presentation using LAPTOPS, TAB’s etc. Today’s buyer needs complete information about the product they are buying i.e. for manufacturer of another product, the equipment they are willing to purchase from the supplier is integral part of their business and they should completely comprehend the specification of equipment, its application, output etc. In case of domestic users, products should be of good quality, reliable brand and proven in the market as word-of-mouth plays very important factor. One unsatisfied customer will spread about the quality of that product to their friends and relatives like rage.
One of the major reasons for failing in getting good orders against the competititors is continuous follow-up with the prospects as well as existing customers. During my tenure as Assistant Manager – Business Development, I made a follow-up plan for each and every product manufactured by the company. These follow-up regimes is still continuing in that company and are getting good orders from Indian companies as well as international organizations, educational institutions and well-known R&D laboratories.
I would like share one of the best techniques known as RGB technique i.e. RED, GREEN & BLUE colors are to be used to prioritize the follow-up job. Let me explain the in detail.   My habit is to write all the tasks for the day in the diary every day morning with the blue ink pen only, and used to complete the task one after the other in the series. My Manager called me in between and given me a task of sales analysis for last month and told me to complete it on priority. I noted it down as the last task in my diary and continued to do the task in hand and forgot the task entrusted to me.  At the end of the day, I realized that important work is pending and which is not so important is completed. After this great mistake, I thought of RGB technique and started writing all important tasks which are to be completed on 1st priority in RED color, 2nd important tasks in GREEN and rest all in BLUE color pen. Think that you already written 6 tasks, 3 in RED and 2 in GREEN and last one in BLUE, your superior has given you the task which is to be completed as 1st priority, write it down in RED. First you are going to complete all RED’s, secondly all GREEN’s and finally BLUE’s.
By using the RGB technique, one can flourish in the business of the company.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Let us discuss what is a project?

It’s a group activity intended to construct a special product, service etc.

A project is time bound assignment and it has a distinct beginning and completion time, and defined possibilities and resources. A project is special and it is not a regular process, but a specific set of process and procedure designed to achieve a particular goal. So a project involves team work often includes people who don’t usually work together and meant for specific project– sometimes from diverse organizations and across several geographies.

At the commencement of a project, it's very very important to develop a concrete understanding of the project's goals, and how the different elements will fit collectively for a successful completion of project.

The development of equipment/machineries for an improved business process, the construction of a bridge, apartments, corporate houses, the support effort after a natural disaster, expansion of market into a new geographic segment — all are known as projects. All projects must be skillfully managed to deliver the on-time, on-budget results, knowledge and integration that organizations need to be in the market.

Project management is the application of facts, talent and procedure to perform projects efficiently and successfully. It’s a strategic capability for an organization, enabling them to secure project results to business goals, better compete in their markets.
Project management processes fall into following groups:
  • Initiating – in construction projects, engineer should initiate the process by examining the plan drawings provided thoroughly before start.
  • Scheduling (plan) – Tasks should be scheduled as per the 3D schematics as well as discussions with the project co-ordinator.
  • Executing - Resources' tasks are circulated and groups are informed of their responsibilities.
  • Monitoring and Controlling - Project managers should monitor the project status and progress to the actual scheduled plan, as resources execute the planned work. During this phase, project managers may call for to fine tuning of schedules or do what is essential to maintain the project on track.
  • Finishing - After project tasks are done and the customer has accepted the outcome, an estimate is necessary to emphasize project achievement and/or gain knowledge from project history.
Projects and project management processes differ from industry to industry; however, these are more customary fundamentals of a project. The goal is typically to offer a product, modify a process or to solve a problem in order to benefit the organization.
